Horrible service-New Tampa-Mar2021

Horrible service. Need 10 calls and 10 emails for a follow up on site-survey. When called, they give appointment out 3 weeks to come. Every other day AmeriGas truck is in my neighborhood for some work. When called they say my home route is not in the list for next 3 weeks. Laid back and do not care attitude.

Truly appalling lack of customer…

Truly appalling lack of customer service. I wanted to set up service for a little Forest Service cabin on Mt. Hood Oregon. Called, got pricing, got the reps email to reach out to confirm things (weird), set up an appt, and then, they didn't show up, didn't reach out, the rep never responded to multiple emails. So, called again to see if I could set up an appointment, got entirely different (more expensive) pricing, set up an account and an appt. Once again, no show, no call/text/email, nothing. The way the calls went with the reps makes me think Amerigas is just a numbers game and not in the business of serving customers.

Amerigas doesn't even deserve one star!!!

Amerigas doesn't even deserve one star! They are the worst company ever! They never show when they say they will. I ordered propane on January 20, 2021 and to this day February 27, I have not gotten a delivery. I have called so many times and they give me promises of delivery and never show up. This happens every time I order propane. I blame myself for doing business with them as long as I did. Never, Never rely on this company!!

Absolutely the WORST service!!

Absolutely the WORST service!!! First they told us 7 days, then 10 days, then up to two weeks... I have small children and still no propane. The temps have been in the negative’s. How can a company be ran this way? Customer quality my butt!!! We should not have to pre-pay for this terrible service. THEY should call us when THEY are 3 stops away and then WE will pay. Disgraceful!!! We will find another service!!

I gave it a one star because I had to!

They have the worst customer service and processing process I had to deal with as of recently. They have no clue of what they are doing. It has taken over 3 months to get an account corrected with multiple calls that last over a two hours being bounced around from team to team and none of them have a clue of what they are doing.
We will be switching companies, they are an absolute joke and the customer service representative are rude not to mention that they do not help you. They rush you off to the next person or simply hang up on you!!!
Please save your self the headaches go with another company!!!

Worst Company! Don’t pay expedited fee they will not show!!

We ran out of gas on February 8th which was our fault. We called them and they said it will take 14 days unless you want to pay 300 to have it next day. We managed to get the money together to pay the 300 dollars. They never showed up!! We have called every day and was promised today was the day. It is now the 16th and still nothing. The did reimburse us the 300, but never called or showed up. Fortunately we were able to contact another company and get a delivery the next day. Never never use this company. And don’t go thru the hassle of paying extra to have it expedited because they will not show up!

The absolute worst!

I gave them a second chance after they refunded part of my bill after they acknowledged gross overcharging. Then they delivered fuel to the wrong property when I was on auto fill and my business was shut down for four days im freezing cold with no fuel. It literally took me less time to get a new company to bring a new tank out and set it up than it did for me to arrange a delivery on the existing account with AmeriGas. Thank you Anderson Oil. Amerigas is just terrible. Their customer service design is flawed.

Absolutely terrible since taking away…

Absolutely terrible since taking away local reps. Used to be able to call and the same friendly person answered the phone. Not anymore. Always called when tank was at 30%. Delivery within 7 business days. Now they say "oh so sorry you're about to run out of propane, but we won't be there for 14 days and sorry if you're about to run out. We can charge you a fee to get your propane there sooner" what happened to our customer service. Terrible company. Will be looking for a local company that actually cares.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY ! TERRIBLE!!!!

If I could leave a zero, I would. This company bought out our small propane company and they are awful! Ordered propane a month ago, was put on the schedule and they never showed. By 4:45 p.m. we called and they said we were never on the schedule even though that very morning they called to say that they would be here that day. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! We have cancelled service and are using a local company. Side note: when you call the customer service number, be prepared to wait on hold for 30 minutes or more then talk to someone in another country.

I called them two weeks before running…

I called them two weeks before running out of propane. They told me they'd be there in one week. Three weeks later still no show. it's clear from talking customer service they don't care at all. I had to go buy extra tanks to keep my house livable during the snow season. Don't use these guys

AWFUL company. Worst gas company I’ve ever dealt with

Called for a refill when I was at 25%, it’s just me and my brother in the house so we don’t use much gas on the daily. I’ve been out of gas for two weeks tomorrow and when I call every day they tell me the same line. Asked if I wanted to spend 200 for expedited or 300 for emergency. I told them I wasn’t spending more money than I already was for false promises. They’ve hung up on me all but once. I have no heat, the house stays at a cool 46°F. Have no hot water and have taken freezing cold showers every day to dry off in a freezing cold room. It’s a wonder I’ve not gotten pneumonia yet. Have no stove so I can’t cook anything. Luckily my parents have wood heat and let us shower at their house. If I could give negative stars I would.

This is the worst company ever

This is the worst company ever! I have lived here 6 years and am consistently out of gas despite being on forecast. Try calling the local office, it’s a joke. No one ever answers or is available. Schedule a delivery on line and wait, wait ,wait ...days for it to happen. Call the emergency line and it’s the same run around. They will put in the order but can’t tell you when your gas tank will be refilled. This company should not be allowed to operate.
